NAMME Annual Conference
In 2009, NAMME’s Annual Conference will be held in collaboration with the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) August 5-9, 2009. NAMME will kick-off its Annual Conference with a board meeting and evening opening reception at 5:45 p.m. on August 4th. The full-day conference will open with a 7:30 a.m. Breakfast Session on August 5th.
NAMME Awards Banquet
NAMME holds an awards banquet each year at which industry leaders in diversity are honored. The awards are the Robert C. Maynard Legend Award, the Distinguished Diversity Award for Lifetime Achievement and the Catalyst Awards for Print, Broadcast & New Media, and the Lawrence Young Breakthrough Award.

Albert E. Fitzpatrick Leadership Development Institute
The NAMME Foundation offers the Leadership Development Institute twice a year. LDI is a three-day, hands-on program for new and middle managers of color. LDI helps managers develop effective leadership skills while not ignoring why managers sometimes fail or become stalled in their careers.
