Convergence, Consolidation and Minority Ownership

John Oliver

John Oliver, Jr., chairman and publisher of The Afro-American Newspapers, will discuss the continued need for minority-owned media at NAMME's 13th annual Conference on Thursday, July 13 th in Washington, D.C.

In a session moderated by Marcellus Alexander, president of the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF), moderates the multicultural panel of owners and experts. Along with Oliver, they include: David Honig, executive director of the Minority Media & Telecommunications Council; Francisco Montero, executive director of the Independent Spanish Broadcasters Association.
