Wendy McAllister
Director of Business Development
NationalGeographic.com

Prior to becoming the Director of Business Development for National Geographic.com, where she is in charge of syndicating content to other providers, Wendy McAllister was the marketing manager for a start-up. Her very first job was for a small video production company.
Definitely savvy in multi-media arenas, McAllister says that the most challenging aspects of her current position are having the resources and bandwidth to take advantage of all of the great opportunities that present themselves and generating a substantial amount of revenue in tight economic times. Despite being ensconced in high-tech endeavors, McAllister states that what she enjoys most are the “talented people” she encounters and her ability to provide the public “with content that they find useful, interesting and unique.”
