Carther Harris is responsible for recruitment and diversity advertising both in print and online. What he enjoys most about his job is working with various clients in financial services and technology to help them reach potential employees and partnering with companies to spread the message of diversity and inclusion.
Prior to joining the Times, he spent 17 years in Telecommunications with Lucent and Bell Atlantic and spent a few years doing business development and marketing in South Africa.
A recent graduate of NAMME’s Leadership Development Institute, Harris says that he most valued the opportunity to meet other minority media professionals and develop relationships with industry leaders. The program provides a great foundation for long-term career success and helps participants to strengthen and improve one’s impact and performance.
